We ship anywhere in Canada, however, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box.**
We use ATS Healthcare as our carrier. They provide climate controlled shipping for all our deliveries which is important for times when temperatures can be extreme. ATS Healthcare does require a signature from an adult 19 years+ to receive the wine delivery. THEY WILL NOT LEAVE THE WINE AT THE DOOR. If the customer is not home, ATS Healthcare will hold your wine at a local depot facility up to two weeks. It is up to you to contact ATS at that time to arrange for an alternative delivery date. Our Wine Club Members receive 50% off shipping rates to major city centres.

**With the exception of shipping to a P.O. Box via Canada Post. Canada Post is not temperature regulated and in some cases can take longer for delivery.

  1. WHO DO YOU USE FOR SHIPPING?
    All Wine Club shipments are sent via ATS Courier. You will receive your tracking number via email.  You can then track your package online by clicking on this link: http://www.atshealthcare.ca/ShipTracking-en.aspx

  2. ARE THERE SURCHARGE FEES IF OUR ADDRESS FALLS OUTSIDE OF MAIN CITY CENTRES? 
    The winery reserves the right to charge a delivery surcharge should your shipping address be located outside main centres.

  3. IS A SIGNATURE REQUIRED? 
    ATS requires an adult (19+) signature for all wine deliveries. Packages that contain alcohol cannot be left at your door without signature. We recommend using an office address to ensure that someone will be able to sign for delivery during office hours.

  4. WHAT IF WE ARE NOT HOME WHEN THEY ATTEMPT TO DELIVER?
    ATS will attempt delivery once.  If you are not home for delivery, ATS will leave a door knocker with your tracking number and instructions for how to pick up your wine shipment at their nearest depot. Re-delivery attempts can be arranged through the winery by contacting wineclub@exnihilovineyards.com . Extra shipping charges may apply.  

  5. WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING RATES FOR WINE CLUB MEMBERS? 
    Wine club members enjoy 50% off shipping to eligible provinces on their Wine Club shipments and on any additional orders of twelve bottles or more. This does not apply to large format bottles (ie Magnums).

  6. WHAT IS THE CHARGE FOR A RE-ROUTE? 
    A $10 re-route charge may be applicable if a secondary address is required after packages have been shipped or after the deadline for providing updates for Wine Club shipments.

  7. DO YOU SHIP DURING EXTREME HEAT OR EXTREME COLD? 
    It is Ex Nihilo’s policy to ship only when weather permits as we want your wines to arrive in perfect condition.  As such, we do not ship during extreme heat (temperatures over 30C) or extreme cold (temperatures below -10C).  We will advise you via email if your package is delayed due to weather, and give you the option to purchase heated or cooled service.

  8. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY WINES ONCE THEY LEAVE EX NIHILO?
    Ground shipping generally takes 2-5 business days for BC & AB locations. 3-8 business days for SK, MB, ONT, and QUE. 6-14 business days for NS, NF, PEI and NB.

  9. WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR PROCESSING WINE CLUB SHIPMENTS?
    As we process a high volume of orders during Wine Club Releases, your order will be processed over a 2-3 week period. Please view Timeline provided by our Wine Club Manager.

 

Provincial pricing, estimated rates, and delivery times are based on current ATS market rates. Holiday shipping and delivery times are subject to change during the winter months.
